Getting Bigger

My due date is getting closer and closer.  I’m getting scared, I admit.  The last thing I want is to deliver the baby via caesarian.  My husband is telling me I’m eating more than I should and I admit I’m not eating the healthiest food.  I can’t help it because I’m really feeling more ravenous than normal.  I only gained 12 kilos but my stomach is huge!  I am not getting fatter but my hunch is whatever I’m eating, it goes directly to my baby.  It was that way also when I was pregnant with Z.  I was thin but with a huge stomach.  When he finally came out he was a whopping 9.6 pounds!  That’s what I’m afraid of.  I don’t want that to happen the second time around.

Shopping Time

My husband is going to go shopping. He would need to update his wardrobe because he’ll be going on a trip next month. He would need some polo shirt, new shoes, and new jeans. I think the apple bottoms will suit him well so I will suggest he buy that too. We’re waiting for a sale so he can buy clothing in bargain prices. I think by the end of this month the malls will have a nationwide sale.

Speaking of sale, I will also grab the opportunity to buy baby clothes for our baby.  By December I will be giving birth and I still haven’t done any shopping for the baby.  Unlike during my first pregnancy we would be more practical this time.  I’m not yet sure if I will buy a crib because I will be breastfeeding and it would be such a hassle to go to the crib every time the baby cries.  My first born promised he will be sleeping in the top bunk of the bed when his baby sibling arrives.  I hope he fulfills his promise or else we would have to buy a new crib too.
