My mom came to visit today. She shared to me some good news. She is already in line for an interview as a VA applicant. What made me happy was the excitement in her voice. I swear even her eyes were shining! I even complemented her on the diamond supply co shirt she was wearing.

I fervently wish she get this job. It will give her a new start in life. She recently separated with her longtime partner which left her without any source of income so getting this job will mean a lot to her.

My husband is the Music Director in our church. According to him they received a donation for mixer. Their current mixer is very old so it’s good news to hear that someone wanted to donate a new one. They looked at the various mixers at different store and decided to buy one with a Peavey model. The price is affordable and just fits the budget given by the donor.

Last month, they also bought a new mesa boogie courtesy of another donor. We’re glad that there are kind hearted people out there who are willing to donate to our church. May God bless their generous hearts.

Last Saturday hubby took out the guitarlele that my friend entrusted to us while they are overseas. As soon as my youngest son saw it all he wanted was to play with it. So my husband obliged and put our kiddo in his lap and let him hold it for a while.

It didn’t have one of those Dimarzio Pickups but since it’s just for practice that’s okay. We looked it up online and found the guitarlele was a bit expensive. We hope to buy one for our son after a few years because he’s really interested in music. His play guitars don’t sound good so we’re hoping to give him a real guitar soon.
