Mom Came By for a Visit

My mom came to visit today. She shared to me some good news. She is already in line for an interview as a VA applicant. What made me happy was the excitement in her voice. I swear even her eyes were shining! I even complemented her on the diamond supply co shirt she was wearing.

I fervently wish she get this job. It will give her a new start in life. She recently separated with her longtime partner which left her without any source of income so getting this job will mean a lot to her.

Buying a New Mixer for our Church

My husband is the Music Director in our church. According to him they received a donation for mixer. Their current mixer is very old so it’s good news to hear that someone wanted to donate a new one. They looked at the various mixers at different store and decided to buy one with a Peavey model. The price is affordable and just fits the budget given by the donor.

Last month, they also bought a new mesa boogie courtesy of another donor. We’re glad that there are kind hearted people out there who are willing to donate to our church. May God bless their generous hearts.

Guitarlele

Last Saturday hubby took out the guitarlele that my friend entrusted to us while they are overseas. As soon as my youngest son saw it all he wanted was to play with it. So my husband obliged and put our kiddo in his lap and let him hold it for a while.

It didn’t have one of those Dimarzio Pickups but since it’s just for practice that’s okay. We looked it up online and found the guitarlele was a bit expensive. We hope to buy one for our son after a few years because he’s really interested in music. His play guitars don’t sound good so we’re hoping to give him a real guitar soon.

Our Church’s Website

My husband and I were assigned to make our church’s website. It will be a good cause because we have members overseas who would like to get updated on what’s happening on our church. We have many celebrations so we would like to post it online too. Just recently, we had a program for our women members where we sang, danced, and played games.

So now we are looking for the best joomla templates that would be appropriate for our church’s theme. Once we find that we would be sending the draft to our pastor for approval. We hope we can finish this by the end of this week.

Hoping to Get My Former Body Back

Losing weight is so hard. And it’s getting harder and harder as we age. Now that I’m a mother of two I am not proud to say that I have a belly that’s bigger than ever before. I really want to get rid of it and get back to my previous body. I’ve even contemplated on drinking BioFit Tea which was recommended by my brother-in-law.

The only thing that’s stopping me from taking those highly advertised pills is knowing that there are side effects of weight loss pills that are not for the faint hearted. That’s why we should always consult our doctors before taking anything.

Graduation

My niece who studied to be a nurse just graduated. Hooray! I can’t believe in a few months, after her board exam, she will become a certified nurse. Despite the huge setbacks she encountered during the past years like losing both her mom and her dad, she pursued her studies and graduated. I am so proud of her.

That’s why I’m racking my brain now for
graduation gifts I can give her. Yes, I’m giving her not one but two. I think she deserves it so I’m coughing up extra money for her gifts. I hope she likes what I give her.

The wedge has become so popular the past years. I like it personally because it’s comfortable but still gives you the height of stilletos.

Victoria’s Secret recently launched its 2012 Swimwear Collection by their beauties, Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel as their ambassadors.

What was unnatural though was the two models were all covered up. Maybe they wanted to be original but I think their idea bombed. First of all, the coverups they used were not pretty at all. What saved the day was their beautiful models who were still stunning despite the bad coverups.

I am in front of my laptop for almost 18 hours working and sometimes I feel bored because of my sounds. I am using windows 7 and I have enough icons that were installed. I often heard about the vlc media player download from my friends and it seems so weird for me. I am just curious, but still I am thinking about the VLC media player on my laptop. Just recently I installed it and it worked out well. It is very simple, fast and I can say I love it. Lately I just found myself using the VLC media player every day. I am just wondering why I didn’t know about vlc media player download beforehand, if I’ve just known it earlier, I won’t experience boredom in the past.
