Planning for Emergencies on Your Trip

January 25th, 2012 | Posted by admin in My Stuff - (0 Comments)

One of the things you have to take care of before going on a vacation is planning for emergencies. I think that is one of the hardest to do. You will never know what kind of emergency you will expect in a foreign place especially if you haven’t been there before. When I planned for our trip my concern was with our budget. It was our first time to travel as a whole family and it didn’t help that we would be staying for 8 days. So in preparation, I researched a lot by reading blogs of people who have gone to Bohol too. From there I have gathered a list of expenses that we would encounter like the tour packages, accommodations, entrance fees to tourist spots and the like. Then we were able to come up with a budget that was both affordable to us and would ensure that we will also get the most of our vacation. Our preparation helped us a lot in staying within our budget and not incurring unnecessary expenses.

If you are traveling not on a plane like us but on the road in an RV then you must also take into account the fact that your vehicle might encounter some mishap and break down. That’s why you should have an rv travel emergency plan as a back up just in case.

A Trip to the Optical Shop

We were at the mall the other day. Even if it was a weekday there were so many people. It really is Christmas.

The first place we went to was the optical shop. My 1 year old glasses got broken on the hinge. My husband tried to fix it a lot of times but it remained that way until I couldn’t use it anymore. When I brought it to the store where I bought it they fixed it right away. What’s great is they did it for free. Hooray!

While waiting my husband noticed the julbo sale nearby. He loved his sunglasses so I wasn’t surprised when he bought one for himself. As for me, I’m so happy I have my eyeglasses back. No more squinting of the eyes when I couldn’t see. hehe

Teriyaki Boy’s Katsudon

We went to Teriyaki Boy a few months ago. My hubby loves Japanese food and since my taste bud agrees with it I love it now too.

He ordered his all time favorite Katsudon. It’s may sound intimidating but it’s just pork cutlets served with egg. The thing that sets it apart is the sauce that goes with it. So yummy!
