Choosing an appropriate domain name can be a very difficult task.  Some research has to be done first befor you select a domain name.  The domain name you choose should be relevent to your market niche.  If you find a domain name you like don’t wait too long before you buy it because once somebody else has already bought it then it would be gone.

Next is considering if you will buy a .com, .net. or .org domain.  The .com domain is the most famous so it would be better for you to choose that.  However, if that is already taken or if you’re short of funds then a .net or a .org will do.

In the search engine business, it’s all about keywords.  So does your domain has to be all keywords too?  The answer is no.  You may end up with a domain with all your right keywords but it can sound boring to the readers.  Choosing a domain name that is still related to your niche but catchy and memorable may be advantageous to you in the long run because people will be able to remember it and you will have repeat visitors.
